A couple who was expecting their first child lived in the middle of the hills, thirty miles from town. One afternoon the wife said to her husband, “Its time!” The husband picked up the phone and called his neighbor, “Get over here right away! Help me get some rags, soap and hot water!” The neighbor asked, “Is she having the baby at home?” The husband replied, “Naw, we’re gonna wash the pickup truck so we can take her to the hospital.”
Funny how we put things ahead of life, Friends, lets get our priorities straight! Lives are depending on us!

While on vacation, the husband and wife were walking in a crowded mall. The man delighted his wife by taking her hand. She asked, “Are you holding my hand because you don’t want to lose me?” He replied, “No, dear. I just want to be close to you today.”

Many times we perceive God’s way as negative and think of Him as controlling or mean. No, No, No. Friend, My God is for you. He loves you. Let him draw you close today! The old song says, Friendship with Jesus, feloowship divine. Oh, waht blessed sweet comminionm Jesus is a freind of mine!

They are known as Masterpieces……….The Statue of David, the Mona Lisa, The Leaning Tower of Pisa. Have you ever heard of the Seven Wonders of the World? Of these seven, only the Great Pyramid of Egypt still exists. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are gone. The Temple of Diana destroyed by the Goths in 3rd Century B.C. All man-made masterpieces will utterly fall.

The Great God of Heaven has been working on some Masterpieces around here lately. Yes, the Creator and sculptor of the Universe is carving and making wonders out of men, women, boys and girls. It is amazing to see the divine Architect transform lives into something beautiful. Friend, these heavenly Masterpieces will never fade or pass away!

Will you allow the Great Artist of Heaven to paint something beautiful of your life? If you will - others will pass by and say…….”That’s a Masterpiece!” and our repsonse will be “Oh, what a Savior!”

A sign in a high school read:

But melons smaller than these are just as sweet and good. Likewise, in spiritual things, are “little melon” folks who live big lives in little places greatly to be praised.
